Students in the Terre Haute vicinity will take their exams in the Testing
and Assessment Center located at the 8000 South Education Drive campus.
If a student is in the vicinity (45 minutes driving distance) of another Ivy Tech Community College site, the student will take their exam at that Ivy Tech approved site.
Students, not located within Ivy Tech Community College vicinity, will be
responsible for selecting a proctor to administer the course exams.
The
submitted proctor must be capable to receive the exam
via email in a Microsoft Office Products format and have the ability to
proctor a web based exam.
The submitted proctor must also meet one of the following requirements:
- a librarian at a public or college library
- a full time faculty member or academic staff member at a regionally accredited college or university (only if no Testing Center exists at university)
- a full-time, state certified elementary or high school teacher
- military learning center or any commissioned officer of higher rank than the student
